Preethi Manuel - Head of Promotion, Euroscript
I have an MA in Screenwriting and Research from the London College of Printing.
I have been involved with Euroscript -Media II funded European screenwriting development programme - for the past three years as a Script Editor and Head of Promotion.
As Script Editor, I have worked closely with English writers, developing their screenplay treatment to first draft stage. As Head of Promotion, I have actively promoted screenplays from Euroscript to European Production Companies which involves dealing with a vast database and meeting producers. I have set up systematic structures for analysing and selecting screenplays for promotion.
Also a writer, my short 'Last Dance With Amma' is currently in development with Tyro Films and am working on a documentary 'Wicked Weekends' to be shot on digital next year.
