We're delighted to announce that Vancouver-based Pristine Entertainment has acquired Paradise Grove for all world sales.
This acclaimed and award-winning movie is a disturbing dark comedy by writer-director Charles Harris. Leyland O'Brien makes his screen debut as a confused mixed race teenager living and working in the retirement home owned by his mother (Rula Lenska), having to cope with his irascible dying grandfather (Ron Moody) at the same time as dealing with the sexual possibilities offered by his fellow worker Kim (Lee Blakemore). Cinema release in the UK by Storyline Distribution.

Ron Moody stars as Izzie Goldberg, with an unforgettable performance as an inmate of Paradise Grove - an offbeat North London Jewish retirement home.
Rula Lenska is his daughter Dee, who runs
the home, but can't manage her own family.
Newcomer Leyland O'Brien plays Keith, Izzie's mixed-race grandson, who wants to get close to his grandfather, but finds himself pushed away.
Lee Blakemore plays Kim, a care assistant whose past is about to catch up with her.
